• Seattle ReLeaf
  Seattle reLeaf provides residents information, volunteer opportunities and incentives to enhance our tree cover and increase the benefits trees bring to Seattle.
• Seattle Department of Transportation Urban Forestry
  Administers, maintains, protects, and expands the City's urban landscape in street right-of-ways.
• Seattle Parks and Recreation Urban Forest Restoration Program
  Enhances the beauty, sustainability and safety of our publicly-owned urban forest in Seattle parks.
• Green Seattle Partnership
  The Green Seattle Partnership is a unique public/private partnership between the City of Seattle and the Cascade Land Conservancy with a goal of restoring 2,500 acres of forested parkland in the City of Seattle. Community volunteers are a vital part of the Partnership’s efforts, dedicating 87,000 hours in 2009.
• Urban Forest Commission
  Advises the Mayor and City Council on policies, plans, and regulations related to the protection, management, and conservation of trees in Seattle.
• Seattle City Light Tree Trimming Program
  Maintains a reliable electric service by clearing branches, limbs and fallen trees away from power lines.
• Seattle Department of Planning and Development
  Administers and enforces regulations related to development that affects trees on private property.

City Plans, Policies and Procedures

• Seattle's Urban Forest Management Plan
  Provides a long term vision for increasing tree canopy cover and the environmental, social, and economic benefits associated with trees in Seattle.
• Department of Transportation Street Tree Planting Procedures
  Allows the City Arborist to review the type of tree and the planting location. There is no charge for the permit.
• Parks and Recreation Tree Policy
  Maintain, preserves and enhances the urban forest within parks.
• Parks and Recreation Vegetation Management Plans
  Guides the growth, development, and maintenance of parks and open spaces.
