Discovery Park People's Lodge Settlement AgreementVisitors Center Contact Information: (206) 386 - 4236 | E-mail: discover@seattle.gov THIS SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT (the "Settlement Agreement") is made and entered into this (21st) day of July, 2003, by and between: the United Indians of All Tribes Foundation ("UIATF"); the Coalition to Save Discovery Park, comprised of the Magnolia Community Club, the Lawton Wood Community Club, and the Friends of Discovery Park (collectively, the "Community Groups"); and the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation ("Seattle Parks"). The UIATF, the Community Groups and the Seattle Parks are sometimes collectively referred to herein the "Parties." This Settlement Agreement is intended to reflect agreement reached among the Parties on important issues relating to Discovery Park and construction of the People's Lodge at the Indian Cultural Center.
