Seattle Preschool Program Impact Evaluation
Request for Proposals
The Seattle Department of Education and Early Learning (DEEL) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants and/or researchers to plan and conduct an impact evaluation of the Seattle Preschool Program (SPP). Consultants selected for funding will design a multi-year impact evaluation of SPP and execute the first two phases of the proposed impact evaluation.
The maximum cost for this work is $350,000. It is expected the contracted scope of work will start in early 2022 and extend to December 2023.
The purpose of the impact evaluation RFP solicitation is to:
- Contract with an evaluation partner that can design, implement, and report on the impacts of the Seattle Preschool Program with a strong lens on impacts connected to racial equity, kindergarten readiness, and programmatic quality.
- Inform DEEL of areas of programmatic strength and weakness to support the continuous quality improvement of the program.
To be considered for funding, eligible applicants are invited to submit a funding proposal by Monday, October 11, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. PST. DEEL expects to notify successful applicants by Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
