Seattle's 2024–2028 Consolidated Plan For Housing and Community Development
The City of Seattle has released the Final Draft 2024-2028 Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development. This Consolidated Plan includes proposed guidance for the allocation of an estimated $19 million of federal grant and program revenue funds [approximately $9.5 million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, $3.7 million in HOME program funds, $826,314 in Emergency Solutions Grant Program (ESG) funds, and $3.7 million in Housing Opportunity for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds] from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The Consolidated Plan responds to HUD requirements for the City of Seattle to access these funds. The Plan outlines strategies to address the housing, homeless, community and economic needs of the City’s low and moderate-income residents and neighborhoods over the next five years.
