City University Community Advisory Committee (CUCAC)

The City University Community Advisory Committee (CUCAC) acts as both the DAC (Development Advisory Committee) and IAC (Implementation Advisory Committee) for the University of Washington. CUCAC participates in the development and monitoring of development under the University’s Master Plan in addition to the physical development of the greater University area. Members of CUCAC are not selected by the City but are appointed directly by 16 community organizations — each of which is set through an agreement between the City and University.
