Camp Long Closed
The grounds of Camp Long have reopened to the public as of Wednesday, November 27, after fire damaged the lodge and 2 cabins on November 11-12, 2024.
The lodge remains closed and fenced off but the park is open. The bathrooms are currently offline because their waterline is connected to the lodge. Porta-Potties are available on site. Thank you for your patience.
Park hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-6pm.
As information becomes available about the future of Camp Long and its buildings, it will be posted on our blog, Parkways.Seattle.Gov.
About
Located in West Seattle, this 68 acre park offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy nature, hike in the forest, camp overnight in rustic cabins, rock climb, and learn about natural history. Rental facilities include a lodge with one meeting room, kitchen space, 10 cabins, two covered picnic areas, group fire ring, and climbing rock.
Camp Long does not offer tent or RV camping.

Rent our Facilities
Camp Long has multiple facilities to rent! We have a charming WPA era stone and wood lodge surrounded by a lovely forest, fire ring, climbing rock, parade grounds, and picnic shelters. We also have 10 rustic cabins named after local mountain peaks for rent. Each cabin has six full-sized beds in 3 sets of double bunks. Each cabin has a faucet, sink and fireplace outside.
