Summer Closure alert:

Evans Pool will be closed June 18- September 10, 2023. Seattle Parks and Recreation is still in the midst of a national lifeguard shortage facing many park agencies. Please see our summer pool, spraypark, and beach schedules for a full listing of all summer aquatics opportunities. We are working hard to recruit, train, and hire more lifeguards so we can return to full operational hours, and we encourage the public to share our lifeguard job opportunities with your networks.


Schedule: April 18- June 17, 2023

Closures: Memorial Day, 5/29; Staff Training, 6/8; Juneteenth, 6/19

3 Lane Lap** Tues & Thurs 11:00-12pm **Open area during 3 lane lap may be shared with swim lessons.
Adult /Sr. Swim Tues - Fri noon to 1:25pm 3 lap lanes
3 Lane Lap Swim & Pool Playland** Tues - Fri 1:30-2:30pm 3 lap lanes

About

We are one of eight indoor pools operated by Seattle Parks and Recreation, and the City's oldest indoor pool (we opened in 1955). Located in on the eastern shore of Green Lake, we're located in the same building as the Green Lake Community Center. During our closure from 2020-2022, the facility received a new roof and new boiler, as well as a new heat exchanger for the pool.
