STREETS | 25th Ave NE and NE 77th St
Crossing Improvements
Project Overview
The lack of safe, marked crossings to Dahl Playfield is a challenge for people traveling to the park. Seattle residents must either cross a busy street at an unmarked location, or travel to the only marked crosswalk that connects to Dahl Playfield at NE 80th St. By adding crossing improvements, we can effectively shorten pedestrian crossing distance, increase visibility, accessibility, and safety for all travelers.
Given the project's location, we’ll partner with Parks & Recreation to complete implementation, pending their approval.
Project Solutions
- Install a new marked crossing on the north leg of NE 77th St across 25th Ave NE
- Install an ADA compliant curb ramp on the NE corner
- Install a curb bulb into 25th Ave NE on the north side of NE 77th St
Neighborhood: Wedgewood
Total Cost: $90,000
YVYC Funds: $90,000
Project Schedule and Updates
Construction was completed in December 2019.

STREETS | Burke Gilman Trail crossing Stone Way N at N 34th St
Crossing Improvements

- Enhance safety at the intersection of Stone Way N and N 34th St and Burke Gilman Trail
